What is Microneedling?
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a
process where a set of small sterile needles are used to cause thousands of micro-injuries to the Epidermis and Dermis. This stimulates the skins ability to heal itself and produce new collagen. Collagen is the main structural protein in our connective tissues, including our skin, and as we age, we produce less collage and our skin becomes thin and starts to sag. Microneedling helps combat these effects and leaves us with smooth, tightened results.
